The Wellborne Roofing Storm Advocacy Program

You’ve decided to submit an insurance claim. We’re here to help.

The Storm Advocacy Program is designed to support our clients during the insurance claim process. It’s simple. We assess the damages for you, we provide the scope of work that is necessary to restore your home, and we provide your insurance company with an estimate for Wellborne Roofing to perform the work.

If you want peace of mind,

If you just want the problem to GO AWAY…

Then our Storm Advocacy Program is a great option for you.

As a homeowner, it can feel overwhelming to submit an insurance claim. One of the biggest worries for homeowners is, “what if I don’t receive enough money from my insurance company to cover the cost of repairs?” Most homeowners don’t know the actual cost of materials, cost of labor, or the scope of work that their claim will require. How could you possibly know if you have enough money to cover all of your repairs?

Let’s make this really simple.

You are hiring  Wellborne Roofing to perform all of the necessary repairs and construction restoration (roofing, wood damage, gutter replacement, siding replacement, windows, etc.) based on the contingency that you receive sufficient funds from you insurance company.

What happens if you do not receive enough funds to cover the necessary work after signing up for the Storm Advocacy Program?

If your insurance company still doesn’t approve enough funds to cover the cost of your repairs (after we’ve supplied estimates based on updated market costs), Wellborne Roofing holds the right to perform the work for the amount approved by insurance, or simply terminate the contingency agreement with no fee incurred to the homeowner.

What happens if you do receive enough funds to cover the necessary work?

If you are approved for an amount sufficient for Wellborne Roofing to perform the scope of work, then you agree to pay Wellborne Roofing the full amount of the insurance claim, for the approved scope of work. We earn our money by performing the work.  If you decide to switch contractors and not use Wellborne Roofing to perform the work after signing a contingency agreement, you will incur a fee of $500.00 to Wellborne Roofing as payment for our services provided in the claim process. This fee covers the cost of your inspections and a written report that will be provided to the homeowner.

So… what’s in it for Wellborne Roofing?

Thanks for asking. To put it simply, we cannot afford to work for free. Helping provide inspections, estimates for damages, costs of materials, labor, and proactively advocating for you with your insurance company is a lot of work. I repeat… it’s a lot of work! A contingency protects our company for the investment of time and resources that are necessary on the front-end to advocate for you. Ultimately, performing the scope of work on the claim is how we earn money.

Okay then, what’s in it for YOU?

You want your home to be as good or better than it was before the storm. You may want to avoid wrestling your insurance company to make sure that happens. Simply put: If you want the problem to go away and to pay only your deductible, then the contingency option is a great one for you.

Life is busy, and many homeowners don’t have the time to learn the ins and outs of roofing or construction. Additionally, we’d all love to think that our insurance providers will give us ample coverage when we need it, but that’s not always the case. Each insurance provider has different standards of care and professionalism. What you will need are the FACTS. Facts about construction costs. Facts about scope of work involved. Our comprehensive report uses material facts of the storm damage to advocate to get you the coverage you deserve.

Is it better for me to handle my own insurance claim? Or should I sign up for the Storm Advocacy Program?

Ultimately, that’s something only you can decide. However, we believe that our Storm Advocacy Program is one of the best services available to homeowners experiencing storm damage. It offers the most protection, advocacy, and support for the homeowner during the claim process. If you plan to perform the work recommended by your insurance and feel confident in Wellborne Roofing for the highest quality, integrity, and customer service, then rest assured - You’re in the best hands with Wellborne Roofing.
